1.) There are multiple archetypal characters in this passage. Cinderella, The evil stepmother, and the prince. Cinderella was the hero/underdog, per say, being treated cruel but the winner in the end. The stepmother is obviously the villain. She's mean, rude, and believe Cinderella is beneath her. Then the prince is the hero who comes in and saves cinderella from her horrible life.

2.) The archetype of this fairytale is that a girl stuck in a bad life get saved by a handsome prince and gets married just because her foot fits in the shoe. It's a classic story that the events, characters, and even the idea of it is pridictable and obvious.

3.) Two stories that are similar to Cinderella are 10 Things I Hate About You, that the main character girl who's rough falls in love with the bad boy who's paid to date her and he falls for her and doesn't want the money anymore, and The Princess Diaries, where the ugly duckling in her high school is the heir to the throne in a royal country. They're all pridictable and center around the obvious going to happen.
