1.) First Paragraph: "a yellow house strategically placed for him to torture me." It's obviously not literal and exaggerated.

"...walked down the street and the trees quaked."

Second: his stare is "leaden" and "eyes in the back of our heads." they're all exaggerations.

2.) The descripion of the bully changes from the sterotype of them being larger than life, grumpy, and easy to identify off the bat. This way is realistic.

3.) Most political speeches hae guides in them to steer the listener from one topic and point to the next.
